EEOC Mediation
The purpose of this paper is to provide a very brief introduction to the mediation program of the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC).
To begin, the main laws that protect employees from discrimination will be mentioned along with the rationale for the use of mediation. Among other things, the EEOC's classification system to select discrimination claims for mediation is described, as is the mediation process, the role and responsibilities of the mediator and the main requisites of any mediated settlement.

The purpose of this paper is to provide examples of how organizational change unfolds in the real world and to compare the examples to material presented during Dr. Welch's course, Intro to Organizational Change. The real world examples were gathered by interviewing two gentlemen who both retired from large corporations in the oil industry.

And, this must be done in the face of the world's natural resource base becoming increasingly fragile. Technologies are becoming available to further increase food production and conserve our natural resources, continuing the advances made in this field during the past century.

The Middle Passage
Although the origins are unknown and the meaning has changed over time, The Middle Passage is a term that commonly refers to the transporting of African slaves from the West African coast, across the Atlantic sea to the Americas, aboard slave ships known as slavers.
This paper will briefly outline the major phases of The Middle Passage and describe some of the treatments and conditions the enslaved Africans experienced.

For more than a hundred years, even serious students of the history of slavery believed the number of African slaves brought to the Americas was between 15 to 20 million. Then, in 1969, Philip D. Curtin questioned those numbers in his book, The Atlantic Slave Trade: a Census.

CRR Marketing Plan
I developed and wrote this marketing plan for Court Record Research, Inc. during the summer of 2006 while I was their marketing intern. This exercise involved defining the mission, positioning, and value propositions as well as creating various strategies along with the company's message. During this process I analyzed the market, the company, competition and clients to uncover opportunities for improvement. Appropriate recommendations, based on strategic and tactical objectives were made and included in the plan.
